The Treasure Coast, a.k.a. Treasure Cove mushroom is a strain of psilocybe cubensis and quite a rare variety. It’s a popular strain among collectors and researchers, as it can be difficult to find. This unique strain is known for having some particularly powerful psychotropic properties and for growing in large flushes.

The Discovery of the Treasure Coast Mushroom

The Treasure Coast cubensis mushroom is native to Florida’s Gulf Coast. They are, as the name implies, a treasure of the coast. The stretch of shore from which this strain gets its name has seen several shipwrecks throughout history, with many riches uncovered and recovered. It was discovered growing in bovine and horse excrement for the first time. Unfortunately, no information on who found the strain or where it originated on the Florida Gulf Coast is available. Treasure Coast is a popular strain that has been around for a long time. It’s a popular choice among veterans, who claim it possesses above-average potency. We would definitely suggest this cubensis mushroom strain to more experienced mycologists, but it may be a nice challenge for newcomers.

The Growth Characteristics of Treasure Coast Mushrooms

These mushrooms are popular among amateur mycologists because they are easy to recognize because to a few distinguishing characteristics. Their caps are light brown or white, and their caps are light brown or white. Treasure Coast Cubensis are among the fastest-growing and most pathogenic-resistant wild cubensis strains, making them excellent for faster culture by growers (where legal). The Treasure Coast variety is known for its capacity to occasionally spin off albino or near albino sub strains, making it a prolific fruiter. When compared to the Amazonian, this strain produces a higher total yield as well as a higher number of individual mushrooms, but over a longer period of time. Treasure Coast is also a fast-growing region. It’s a fast-fruiting psilocybe with large, compact clusters that mature quickly.
